Some of Our Projects

Reshaping Communities through Art (2019-2020)

House of Arts Association's "Reshaping Communities through Art" project was a flagship initiative that sought to transform marginalized communities through the power of artistic expression. This project took a holistic approach to community development, using art as a tool to address social issues, build resilience, and promote positive change. Through workshops, performances, and collaborative projects, young people were encouraged to explore their creativity and develop new skills, while also fostering a deep sense of community pride and ownership.

Key to the City 1 and 2 (2020- 2023)

"Key to the City" is an innovative and interactive project by House of Arts Association in partnership with Dream town organization that aims to unlock the hidden potential of marginalized communities. This project provides young people with opportunities to actively participate in city-level stakeholder meetings on community development. By engaging with policymakers, community leaders, and other stakeholders, young participants are given a voice and the chance to advocate for their needs and aspirations. Through dialogue, creative problem-solving, and empowerment, this project enables marginalized communities to shape their own future.

Youth City (Jan 2024-2027)

The project aims to address the challenges faced by young people in cities, particularly those in slums and informal settlements, who are often excluded from opportunities. Aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 11, the program seeks to make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable by empowering urban youth. Through youth led initiatives, the program will foster entrepreneurship, transform public spaces, and amplify the collective voice of young people to influence local and global urban development.
